I have been looking at the freelander, as a new buyer. What do I need to look for ? Looking at autotrader and the are a few sub-£1000. Any advice would be a great help. First time 4x4 buyer. Not looking for a super bargain, Just need to know any common faults to look out for. Thanks in advance.

Have you taken any time to read through some of the posts in the Freelancer section? You might find your questions have been answered many times before

Have you considered introducing yourself in the imaginatively titled "Introduce yourself" section

Check the doors on your possible new purchase carefully, they fall off when they get wet
