Have been following threads for a while now - should have taken more note before buying "the beast".
Really happy though as I can't stand the idea of not spending money! Proud owner of a 99 TD5 with 120k on the clock. Few minor issues at present but hopefully with the input from everyone out there - should be able to squander a bit of dosh quite easily and remain on the road.
Vast improvement on Series 3 I owned about 15 years ago. Tried one out a while back but found they had redesigned the thing as I couldn't fit behind the steering wheel!!!!

Thanks for the welcome. Bit lost but hope to get the hang of things shortly.
What do I do to ask where I can get a replacement ACE plug from? The one on the bottom you have to take off to get to the filter. Don't think the one currently in situ will survive much longer.

Just ask away in the defender section. Plenty of expert folk on here will be glad to help. Also try the search option...any questions you have, may have already been answered in previous threads/posts. (Sure craddocks or paddocks will supply them).
