I'm sure I grew out of the my tyres bigger than yours a few years ago. I just hate Wide tyre'd septic tank looking motors they all look like gay jeeps!

Ive run both
31x10.50 Kumho KL71's
AND
33x12.50 BFG MT's.

Never had a massive issue with either but obviously my BF's are taller and wider.
Only thing with the Kumhos is they are directional. I found that the BF's have a larger side lug and dont clog as easy as the kumho's.

I will be sitcking with BFG's from now on, as ive heard rumours of 1000's of miles wear out of them.

yep.

cant say ive ever been impressed with BFG.maybe for on road at tyres but not real off.i just dont think there worth the price.

yea but for comps i run 750's road and recovery its 900's and 35 inch v tyres on stupid wide rims which will be going for a set of narrow rims as soon as funds allow. if you can learn to drive with normal size tyres and use momentum and skills to get through a course i can a CCV section is as challenging as many of the lower end of the winch comp section and they run open diffs and 750's and cannot stop.

but not as gay as a landrover on skinny tyres:p
but hey skinny tyres are better cos they dig down and get grip, even deeper than your diffs will allow aswell:rolleyes:

im sure the skinny vs wide will forever be an ongoing debate:D

owning a landrover is an individual thing if every landrover looked the same how boring would it be:cool:
