Hi, my beloved has a disco m.reg. he only uses in the winter time, although kitted our for some mean off roading, he purchased a new battery in the week.( due to nothing no lights central locking ect but after fitting it to the disco,we have nothing no lights on the dash interior light central locking nothing.even when he connected the battery leads to the battery terminals nothing no spark, he gets only a little spark from the winch connection, he has now even put the battery on charge, this is pushing out the right amps, but still the same problem when connecting it back to the disco. any ideas please,

As said one of your main connections has corroded off or some fink

Get out your test lamp [ multi meter and staet checking
battery , starter an alt
check earth straps are intact ,put jump leads from engine to chassis as a check

Has it got a Mega fuse protecting the battery from winch over load


A quick intro may help you out on here if your gunna stay

and FFS get him to put an isolator on the leccy winch pronto. If the solenoid sticks he could end up in the s**t.
