Thanks for that. A picture paints a thousand words. So, it's twist and pull.
It is the FL1, does that not come off the same way?I assumed it was the FL1 not FL2. Some clarification might be useful, as the selector knob is different.

I'm trying to think about the button. I can't remember how I did it last time. I'll look at mine over the weekend to confirm the removal procedureThanks again, would it do any harm if I twisted it a little to loosen it?
What is the switch/button connected to, I was worried about doing it some damage?
Thanks Nodge, I'll await your response.![]()
Hi.
The pictures are of the FL2 knob removal. The FL1 is just held on with friction. This simply requires a good pull to remove it. As said, don't get your head in the way, when it comes off. It's a good unguided missile![]()
Don't forget to unplug the small electrical connector at the base of the gear lever. I think I tucked the connector into the hollow lever, so it didn't get ripped of when the knob came free.Good enough for me, thanks again.![]()
The connector is for the switchAhhh, there's a connector. OK Thanks again
