cheers lads im in the brown and smelly hear have to get the car running for tomorrow

put gear box in 1st gear you need to be very square (bell housing gap equal all the way round )moving up down on crane ,will be hard on your own as is easier with some responsible person lifting as you feel

Cheers James, First time ive not been able to pick one up using the drive flange,,,, might be frustration getting the better of me.. What would i do without you,, Cheers matey

Cheers James 1st gear was the trick ( yes Steve 2 trolley jacks 4 axel stands a bucket of swear words),, What idid to get the alinement better was back it all out and put in 4 bit of all thread about 6" long ran the box onto them this alined it as i pushed it in enough to hit the clutch,,, put about 2 turns of pressure on each bolt then turned the box over in 1st,,,, made a pong sound and all the nuts went loose, gave it a kick and we were in bolting range,,,, Big cheers James

Hello Steve, Yep took off the pipe and made up 2 plates to pick up bolt holes front an rear, welded to jacks so keeping it level,,,,hard part was tryin to lower both jacks at the same time,,, just did it a bit at atime,, long winded but it worked ,, went back the same way just had probs getting the clutch spline... but alls well now
