got a disco 1 300 tdi es auto with a noisy aircon pump bearing, my question is can i take the belt off that drives the aircon pump or will it cause other issues, pretty sure its only the aircon driven by the belt, new pump on the way but the noise its getting on my nerves

Yes you can it only drives the air con be fine

Yes you can mine had no air con belt when i bouhgt it so i assume it has the same problem but i wont be fitting a new pump we had snow two nights ago !!

cheers fellas, just did it anyway, just as well i did as the drive belt was cream crackered so changed that aswell, ive a feeling this may become my full time job
