Hi guys, just fitted a replacement getrag gearbox to my td4, (now there's a job and a half) now I want to pull the original box to pieces & fit new bearings, has anyone got a diagram of the getrag box? I have two copies of manuals from ebay and neither of them show pictures of the getrag, all they show are the PG1's, I want to know what will fall out first when the bolts are removed.

I would have thought the 2001 RAVE CD #4 would have the Td4 box.

Interesting project if you see it through, the manual should state service limits for all the gubbins inside.

I'm hoping to do the same for the IRD, there is no diagram for this at all.

Austin on here has gearbox and diff repair as a commercial enterprise, he might help you out with some pics, wouldnt hold my breath though

thanks for that Northern Irelander, I have 2 cd's one of them 2001-2005 but they only have info on the PG1's and that includes the tech stuff on clearances etc. Anyway at the end of the day I have the nuts to just wade in and pull the thing to pieces if I don't manage to get any info (how hard can it be

, putting it together will be the hard part

) I'll keep you informed, let us know how you get on with your IRD box, that could be my next job
