Hi all, just stumbled across this site as i was looking for some info on buying an old runabout landy while my e36 cabby is off the road.
im kinda sniffing around a j plate disco 2'5 deisel (not sure of model possibly a 300tdi?) 180k on clock. is there anything i should watch out for? (and yes i have already seen the pics of colander bodies and non existant sills:D)
any help apreciated,and sorry to the mods if i have posted this incorrectly!:eek:
 
if ya need a cheap wagon then the tdi 300 will go well.get one with 12 months mot so you can use it for a year before you weld it up......
 
J reg' will be a 200tdi, but thats still a donk. As BoB says make sure it's got a years ticket as rust will be the biggest problem. Good luck. :)
