Hello, help,I can hear and feel a slight rumble from the n/s/f on my landy, when turning right in my landy, any suggestions what this could be.Very concerned!
I would caution against trying to do any of this yourself unless you are really capable and have the correct tools.
To remove the hub/wheel-bearing assembly you will have to undo the drive shaft nut which is very, very tight - 400Nm - that is not so easy to take off or re-tighten correctly. You are going to have to go to a garage to get the bearing replaced anyway - unless you have a bearing press.
I try to do everything myself, and actively encourage others to do what they can, as most tasks are fairly easy - with a little bit of know-how. This is not one of them. I know my limits and want to keep the skin on my knuckles.
nut is the easy part and an exact 400nm isnt critical as long as nuts tight ,bearing replacement can be tricky even with correct tooling, inner race tends to stick to drive flange bloody tight
