Tried to start the pick-up this morning [Nissan cabstar 2.5 desiel]Cranked the engine till battery was flat ,it just wouldn,t fire.Ive serviced it recently [oil change,and filters] but it still seems reluctant to start on these cold mornings and when it does start it emits large plume of grey smoke from exhaust.Any ideas so I can earn a crust?

bit of petrol in yer diesel to stop it getting so thick.

Well, it's a Discovery section this.

Swap it for a Disco. It still won't start, but at least someone on here might be able to help.

Thanks for the tips.I was thinking aout possible glow plugs.Sorry for the slitty post but my tdi is really boring.Nothing ever goes wrong with it.
