Yes I am worried about it... I have no other choice though if u want to fit a good diff guard as they all use them holes

Could you not weld another piece to it that would go over the diff to hold it in place? Surely that would be less likely to be a worry.

Is there room to weld two nuts on the diff casing behind the holes in the bracket?
