I have listed my spare chassis on eBay and just had a question about it.

Do I have the VIN plate and V5 for it. No I don't

Does this sound dodgy to you lot? After reading about all the fenced landys on here I was wondering about it.

Might be genuine just asking to make sure it's not nicked or anything like that

is it from a series 1 -2 earlie 3 if so probly want it for tax excemption on a newer model

Nah its a 86 to 94 RRC so not tax ex

as said the buyers trying to confirm you aint nicked it and its legit whats dodgy about that?

I was asking if it was dodgy not stating it. Seeing as a lot of people have a go at people selling vins on ebay.

And I never got an ID with the chassis. Was going to replace the one on my classic as its rotten. But brought another classic.

I would be more concerned if it DID have a vin plate, as this would make it easier to be used to change the identity of a nicked landy, or to make a vehicle tax exempt when it shouldn't be.
