I took me a couple of camping trips to get this just right, but here it is and i'll share it with you....
My cheap and waterproof awning for my disco. Takes 2 mins to put up and down.
Just what you need in time for a road trip in the british summer
Ingredients:
1x Tarpauline
6x Market Stall Clips
1x Extendable Window Washing Squeege on a pole.
1x Guy rope.
1x Rock Peg
1x Small shot cord Loop
Method:
Throw tarp over the car, fasten to roof rails and the open rear door with market stall clips.
Add small shot cord loop to tarp corner and the squeege pole, add guy rope using a small knot.
Insert the Rock peg into ground, if the juices run clear - you are off road!
Attach guy rope to rock peg and tighten. Serves 2 generously.
