My drivers door lock has failed, think it must be superlocked as can't open it with key either, when I push the don button, the inside lock button goes half way up, does any one gave any thoughts? Bit annoying as it happened after just getting to newquay for a stag weekend

If it's superlocked, the only way is brute force and ignorance. Look on the www.rangerovers.net site. On there you'll find detailed instructions with pictures. You'll also need a new lock.

i was thinking that there must be a way to reverse the actuator ( un less it is seized solid ). i got out, locked it then unlocked again and it was stuck. so i dont think it is seized up.

Turns out the interior handle cable had frayed, as soon as I got it off, the door opened from the outside
