Hi all, im going to collect some 109" series 3 bits tomorrow and need some advice on what size van ill need! im getting a roof, 2 van side panels, possible a rear tub, a 90 seat box and bell housing and 2 90 front wings. will this fit in the standard sized transit or will i need a longer wheel base?? rental sites are pretty vague on the load space available, i might just spend the extra £20 and get the bigger one to be on the safe side. anyone moved any bits in a van before??

aint got anything to tow with or a trailer or a licence to tow so van is only option! or a transit tipper? :S

Lwb high top transit should do,as long as its an empty load bay you should be able to put tub in on its side and stack the rest. Go for the biggest you can get:)

Yeh I did see the lutons, don't you need different licence I drive em? Found myself a bulkhead to pick up on the way :), can you get a bulkhead in the back of an estate?

no, you can drive 3.5 ton lutons on a normal licence... think you need to be 21 for most hire places insurance though.

Just remember it's big... I forgot that bit and am now £750 lighter :( (oh and maybe that insurance excess waver thing isn't a stupid idea)
