That'd be why the US Rangers and Special Forces binned em all and use Landies then..
You should be well pleased then, the good Landy chassis combined with the better looks of a Hummer, what a combo.
He drives a Freelander...Better looks?????????????![]()

That's what I was saying... the H1 has vastly superior looks when compared with a FreelanderOK then, superior looks.

I could not get hold of an H1 chassis-
Plus I got the shell in a scrap yard and bought it for $450/- I have kept everything from my old disco intact within the shell including the bulk head which you cant see right now as it is under the cover. You will see (hopefully) in due course when the project progresses - Next stop- Front seats
hell of a project but why not just go for a hummer rebuild on a hummer chassis? what engine you planning for this beast? needs to be at least a 4 litre no? and as for all the haters out there, for f**k sake, how many of you can honestly say; if some one dangled the keys to a military spec H1 in your face, you'd say "ooh no, couldn't possibly accept that, ooh no its an american car, ooh its rubbish" - BOLLOX that vehicle is tough as f**k and looks it too
