does any one ever have problems with the hand beak working one day and the next it not working.
mine always gives up the ghost on mot day.

Park on level ground ,lift the back , remove wheel and drum .Take a look at the spring on the end of the cable and see if its already tight ,even with the handbrake off , like mine was before I cut 20mm(30mm would have been better) off the spring .
Now it works as it should .
