thinkin of takin my center box out and replaceing it with a straight pipe, would it pass the MOT like it, thanks

you'll be fine as long as you do a good job of it and it doesn't leak, V8's sound a bit raucous without the centre box, but noise wise tdi's its all good

no probs mate, just make sure you make a good job of it or it will make the mot tester start poking about more that he would normally

will do needs sorting thats all and thought of doin that instead, was checking about car and noticed the center box to back box connection is badly bodged.

it might be worth getting a new rear section and making your own centre out of universal pipe

I believe you can purchase a system complete (down pipe back) without a centre box in it, so no bodging required.

Thats what I'm planning to put on mine in the not too distant future as mu tail boxx became detached on the last outing to the plains.
