Looking at selling the discovery
Question is do I sell it as it is
With the lift kit/winch/steering guard/detachable tow bar
Or do I put it back to std to sell it

I sold the caravan now so don't need a tow car just something for the odd days laning so I'm looking at selling the discovery and getting a tidy series instead
But I'm not sure if I would get more buyers or lees buyers if I sell it as it is
What you think

curious, it looks very nice and clean but it looks like the only offroading that has done is up the kerb. did you ever use the lift kit and winch?

Yep it's seen the odd puddle of two
Only had to use the winch once
I did have a second set of wheels for off road use

Put it back to standard, with the lift it would put most people off. You can then sell the lift kit/winch/bits and pieces for decent money :)

+1

IMHO you'll get more interest and most likely a lot more cash for it by selling it as standard and selling the toys separately.

as it stands what would be willing to take for it?

PM if you wish, I have family in the UK looking for a tidy 4X4 and they could well be interested :D

Yup, if you look at what's for sale on Ebay, generally speaking the ones plastered with accessories don't fetch any more, and sometimes less, than standard ones in good condition. So you might as well hang on to the bits and pieces if it can be reverted to standard easily, and use them for the next project or sell them separately.
