The original bolts plus thickness of plate.
You could always take out a bolt and measure it before you actually do the job.
If there's enough thread in the manifold the original bolts might do the job. My plate came complete with a pair of stainless bolts and a gasket.
Just checked the original bolts from my '99 TD5 auto. They have 16mm of thread. So about 20mm should do. You would still need to take one out to check the thread size though...
