Please don't flame me for this! I have looked through the old messages but just got more and more confused.........SO, I want to upgrade my headlight bulbs to something that actually works in the dark and wondered what the brightest alternatives are. They need to just plug in the same as the originals as I have no talent for tinkering! Part numbers etc would be and absolute bonus!

That's the point. I did read the threads and got utterly baffled! Just wanted a good recommendation to be honest.
 
There is such a lot of conflicting advice. Do you have any recommendations? I am just looking for some helpful advice.
 
Hi there,

I have got Halfords Ultra H4's-up to 120% extra brightness-£24.99 each but buy one get one free. They are very good. Just a bulb change-easy.

OK - I'll tell you.

Either Osram Nightbreaker,

or Phillips Nightguide / Nightvision.

Both very similar in performance and price.
