Nice, but number plate sucks and is illegal / mot fail.
Lack of plate maker origin & post code?
The plates being transfered so i got the extra expense of new plates on top of the £750 purchase price... aint life a bitch![]()
True, But its got 9 stamps in the book and a fair bit of paperwork receipts n the like thats summat i supposeThat looks like a real beauty Nathan well done - now you need to go through it from top to bottom, to find out what didn't get done before

Im all ears bigladThe reason for saying go through it thoroughly is that I have found service history is only half the story. If you want a reliable and efficient DII you will need to adopt the preventative maintenance approach.
And after breakfast?Hi Nathan, I always start at the front and work my way back, so:
1. Cooling system - empty coolant, flush rad, and engine, replace any pipes that don't inspire confidence, replace the thermostat, refill with pink OAT coolant.
2. Braking - replace front discs and pads unless very new looking, replace brake fluid.
3. Engine - de-EGR, De-Cat, clean AAP/MAP, engine oil and both oil filters, airfilter, replace the injector harness, clean and monitor ECU red plug, check/replace front camshaft oil seal, check fuel cooler seals and replace as necessary, check FPR seals and replace as necessary.
4. Steering - replace fluid, check/replace pipes (they wear through near the engine sump lip, check/replace track rod/tie rod ball joints,
5. Front diff - oil change, check breather,
6. Gearboxes - change fluids and filters (where applicable)
7. Front prop - remove, examine, grease if poss, renovate if necessary
8. ACE - check/replace pipes, replace valve block filter
9. Rear prop - check/replace/grease U/j and sliding joint, replace rubber 'doughnut'
10. Renovate rear brakes
11. Replace fuel filter
12. Take out in-tank fuel pump and clean internal filter
Sorry mate I'm bored now,
Cheers
Dave
So av i
Nice motor mate.. wish mine was as gleeming as that, looking at that list, ive got plenty to do too!
3. Engine - de-EGR, De-Cat
Isn't it an MOT failure now if the CAT is removed and EGR blanked off..?
Cheers m8, Replacing a 10amp fuse for a 20amp seems to have cured the cutting out issue...gotta start saving now for me next laning trip![]()
