Before i get flamed, i tried the search button to find an old thread but couldnt find it!!! Whats the most used, easiest to use, sat nav or whatever map system that shows all green lanes etc etc. all the bits that id need to know whilst laning or finding them. Electronic and not paper maps before it gets suggested

the osm or ordinance papergraph navigation unit is the best imo

Memorymap on a netbook or PDA and a usb/bluetooth GPS dongle

anybody got a proven model that they can recommend. by that i mean one i can just look up on the net, instead of searching types for ages

Any netbook or pda will run memorymap or get a roadangel then you get Tomtom and Memmap. in one unit.

If you have a mobile phone with onboard GPS, then Viewranger is worth a look.
