I'm driving to Suffolk on Thursday and will go past chelmsford on the A12, so if he's still stuck, I can stop off and retrieve the corpse. Keep me posted.
ribbing? I was merely pointing out ( in my inimitable lighthearted manner) that if he couldnt find the LZIR rescue thread on here, then his help trying to find a guy lost in Essex might be pushing it a bit .

Good to see you again Brian, and a good joint effort by all
Made a change from sitting around scratching me nuts although now loads of mud in me motor
Was a bit luck as my winch packed up last week and i brought one sunday on Ebay and it turned up this morning, so got it fitted to day with some welding mods on me bumper, so was a good test for it, although had been playing with it this afternoon so knew it wasnt going to fail me
copy of what i posted on Essex lanes, and yes was very close a couple of times, thank god for trees and tree sliders
