Anybody had problems with receiving the free gift offered with Land Rover Owner? Waited 2 months for my free Teng socket set! They believe it's been delivered which it hasn't and now they are offering me a set of six spanners! I don't need spanners!!!!!!!!!

twas a few years ago, but mine turned up ok. wife bought the subscription as a chrissy pressy, socket set turned up early enough for her to wrap it up too!

When I took my subscription out a couple of years back I waited months. I then only got the gift because I kept emailing and phoning them and in the end had to chose an alternative anyway! ... Poor show. LRM on the other hand delivered very quickly!

I've been really disappointed by them. Also at least when I was buyin the mag from the shop I could pick which one I wanted. So far they have sent me the creased cast offs that they prob couldn't sell in the shops, not only that, it's turned up a week after its been in the shops! I thought I would get a good service but so far it has been a complete let down. Lesson learnt! Now to read up on changing my clutch!! Lol!

I own a Teng set anyway but doubt they'd be free though given the price of them new

Certainly is. Free teng socket set with all LRI subscriptions.

Cant remember what i got when i took subscription out.

Funny but it was the Teng sockets that I was supposed to get but they were 'mysteriously' out of stock constantly. Finally had to settle for some Draper screw drivers

I allow the subscription to lapse and then take out another twelve one to claim the free gift. And yes, I did receive the Teng socket set but, sadly, it is now rapped up as a present for the kids to give me at Christmas!!!!!!

If you haven't got what you want I'd suggest ringing them up and saying that you have been miss-sold a product. Watch them worry then!!!

They weren't interested in my mid sold product plea, still suggesting it was delivered to me! The next day some crappy Teng knock off spanners arrived at my door!! Worth about a quid I reckon! Waste of time and money! Shame has put a real downer on buying LRO each month!

I gave up with LRO forum along time ago! Too many people thinking they know best about everything and talk to you as if your stooooopid!! At least with this site everybodys helpful and good banter too!! Maybe a LandyZone Mag could be in order!!? Lol!

I'm just about to cancel my lrm subscription, theres never any good articles in it, adverts are good to see new stuff but its mostly poor. Have to laugh at the insurance from landy "specialists". 2 wouldn't quote due to it being a 9 seater CSW and the rest were a rip off
