Hi all I recently got a lr322 and a new key cut with new internals board/transponder. Now both new and old key turn in door/glovebox lock and do nothing old key works to unlock/lock but has no rubber left on the fob. The new key I have tried to program in through the hol unlock press lock but after 3 days and various attempts I have had no luck also the new key wont turn in ignition? Any help would be appreciated thanks

Hi and welcome to the asylum

would assume the new keys will need programming via diagnostics

but the more knowledge members here will be able to help better ref the L322

Ps, what year model etc is it as the more Info u can provide the better

If it still doesn't turn in the ignition lock, then you will need to the have the key coded to the EWS system in the car. This assumes that the new key has its little transponder inside it (this is a small, loose plastic looking thing that do tend to fall out when the key is opened.)

I'll let you stick to those...as I don't have a clue on those, so I doff my cap to your superiority in such matters!

Thanks guys I am in dundee on Thursday so will talk to him then. Yeah followed the process but no luck so far
Open the key (carefully) and see if you can see a small loose piece of plastic....this is the transponder...if it isn't there...you'll never get it to work
