Hello landy owners. I have my 1995 V8 back from the garage. To pass the MOT I MUST replace the boot floor. HOWEVER someone has kindly fitted a 90lt LPG to the floor.

Anyone know how to safely remove tank without blowing myself up so I can get on with my project.
The tank gauge is empty and it won't fire up on gas as its empty so I'm confident there isn't any gas left but do I simply undo the nuts attaching the copper "in" and "out" pipes and take it out or will it be under pressure? Will I had myself to death? Will I combust. I'm scared help. ??????

Just unbolt the pipes do not remove the valves. there will be no issues, but make sure tank well hidden from scrap collectors

Cheers. So where the copper pipes attach to the valve/gauge in the plastic box on the tank (in pics) using compression nuts. Just undo them and I won't have a gas leak??? I'm assuming the valve is always closed when ignition off? Hence the "click hiss" when turning key on? Am I right?

Also when re-connecting do I need to worry about the O2 that will have got in pipes or will that sort itself out?

even when you think its empty you will have gas escape when loosened,undo slowly in a ventilated area. also disconnect guage wire plug & lock of valve (2 wires 12v),undo/slacken tank straps(2 nuts under frame) remove straps/tank then finally there should be 4 bolts securing the frame through the boot floor.

Cool. Thanks. I'll give this a go tomorrow morning. It's outside in the open so will be well ventilated.
