just checked the lower link bushes on my 90..
Both sides cracked in a few places, what constitutes a buggered bush??
does it have to start knocking and rattling before it needs replacing?

the bush'es need replaced when there is excessive movement. If there are cracked and spliting then they will be pretty much knackered.
A set of new bushes will make a huge difference
