i replaced mine and it was like a jelly, the replacement was extremely stiff.

my fl now changes gear much smoother and dunt clonk on taking up drive :)

Ah, I do get a clunk if I take off a bit sharpish.... Another thing to add to the list ffs:mad:

that can also be the top engine mount, the rear diff mounts and a few other things as well tbh :(

get someone to drive the fl backards and forwards whilst looking at the engine and mounts, it'll give you a better idea.



p.s do this while the bonnet is up and not layed down underneath :eek:

When I unbolted the lower tie rod thing,(was taking the sump off) it pretty much just swung to the floor and was all floppy, no resistance in any form at all

£48 for a genuine part or go down the poly route like Nodge for a bit cheaper.

All you do to fit a poly bush is unbolt the large end from the sub frame, push out the knackered bush. Then push the 2 halves of the new bush the push in the steel tube and refit. Poly makes a bit more vibration than rubber but lasts for ever.
