Hi all.

Discovered small splits in lower ball joint covers so I will be replacing all 4 ball joints.
Got the tools for pressing the joints in and out, alignment will be down to measurements, wondered if anyone can advise on what joints to get ?.
I usually use Island 4x4 for parts and they list 3 makes, Britpart, Lemforder, and Delphi.
Anyone with recommendations or alternative supplier would be appreciated.

I've used Delphi to good effect previously....

Lemforder and Delphi are OEM. As of last week Island had no Lemforder uppers in stock, so get Delphi they have those.

Not a job to take on lightly..... If the joints are still sound you can just replace the gaiters,alot cheaper and easier.

Hi eightinavee.
I appreciate what you are saying but, as I have the Ball joint removal tool I may as well replace them now rather than some point in the future.
I expect there to be a lot of swearing and cursing during the operation but, at leased I go into it with my eyes open.
Many years ago a regular job was King Pins and Bushes on Commercials and it can't be any worse than them. (Showing my age there)
It wont be for a few weeks yet but, will post up my experiences once done.
