Was driving around tixover today and lst low ratio in the transfer box?
i can put it in high and high dif lock but not low can anyone help with what happened and is it a big job to sort it out ?
It could simply be the link from the lever. Start by aquainting yourself with the linkages to the gearbox from underneath armed with some WD40. While the missus stirs the lever from above.
If mine won't go into low, I find putting the transfer box in neutral, main box in 2nd or 3rd and running with the clutch up for a few seconds helps. Don't know if there's any technical reason why this would or wouldn't make any difference but it seems to help!
