Does it do that on idle or do you have to use the hand throttle? Haven't been brave enough to stick my Series in low yet! Been too busy repairing bits!

Yep. does it on tickover .. ;)
 
low 1st is very useful at gates.... aproach the gate in low 1 hop out , open the gate , wait for vehicle to go throuh , then shut gate and hop back in.
we used to use a series feeding hay to cattle out in the fields... set it going in low 1st..hop in the back with the hay and chuck bits out as it trundled up the field. saves a lot of walking and the risk of being bowled over by the bullocks rushing for the hay.
low reverse is also useful when reversing a trailer..


Am liking this idea mate, guess what I'll be doing in the mornin when I'm on me own with nobody to open and close gates...:D:D
