Range rovervogue td6
Loss of power intermitantly.

Hawkeye sais fuel presure control?
Have changed fuel filter, but still same!

Is there a filter in the tank?
Any ideas please

Would that be diesel injector pump?
Or tank lift pump?

Also i think i may have some **** diesel in it. Bought from a dodgy garage whilst on a scottish island last week

I'm not familier with the Td6 but I thought it is a common rail injection engine?

If so there is no FIP but there will be a fuel pressure regulator for the common rail.

High pressure pump that feeds the rail may be dodgy. Luckily they are not as expensive as you may be expecting. But would suggest getting it checked by a diesel specialist before getting a new one.

I had exactly the same issue and it was the booster pump located on the passenger side in the inspection cover underneath. I used a hawke eye come up the same an was a simple fix!

Same pump used on a td4 and they prone to fail
