The clutch pedal biting point on my friends TD5 is really low, just off the floor. The clutch was replaced about 3000 miles ago, is there anything he can do to improve it? I thought it might be a leak in the pipework but he reckons it's not. Any thoughts?

Mine was the same after a new clutch.
Cured it by bleeding the clutch. Its the simplest/cheapest solution, which should sort it
Disco clutch bleeding seems to be a black art! There are epic threads on here about it!
My method is:
Using two people, get prepared, correct size spanner for the bleed nipple, old towel to soak up the fluid.
Person in the car, pumps the clutch pedal, HARD at least five times (bleed nipple closed)
Crack open the bleed nipple, shout "DOWN" to the guy/girl in the guy.
They have to mash the pedal down as HARD as they can.
I didnt bother with a catch jar, just let in squirt into the towel.
Close the nipple. Shout "up"!
Repeat if required, I only did it once, worked a charm! Took 5 mins!
Prior to doing as above, I had tried pressure bleeding, reverse pressure bleeding, RAVE method, etc etc, none of them worked.
