Now then, I did a search on here and found a thread saying a Defender horn is located between grill and rad, mine isn't or has it fell off, we're they located anywhere else?

I'd there a noise when you press the horn button, if so, that might aid you in finding its location

No noise, stopped working the other day, which side is it meant to be as I cannot even find a wire or connector or even a bracket or hole

On older defenders it is usually behind the top right hand corner of the grill as you look at the front of the vehicle. I'm not sure if the position moved on later ones.

Thanks for that, I have been told it is ontop of the inner wing on a TD5, will check tomorrow

Its behind the headlight on the passenger side, remove the plastic headlight surround and you can reach the bolt that holds it on.
I did this last week.

cheers for that, had to take headlight out to get at it, horn was rotten

Original horn was rotten, truck air horn now in place behind grill, easy access and very loud,let's see how long it lasts
