been repairing my mates p38 ignition,but we have lost the transponder pick up that fits near the key,small circuit board if i remember right,new one is £100,complete ignition,you cannot buy the part seperatly,is there a way of bypassing this,or is it a second hand one off e-bay,

The exciter coil can be disabled with diagnostics.
I have the exciter ring and pick up if you need one, PM me for details.

Had a few beers last night :beer2::beer2::beer2::beer2: and around 3.00 had to take a leak, decided to have a cup of tea and a smoke.:smokin::tea:

Diagnostics are: Faultmate, Test Book or Autologic. These can disable the Passive Immobiliser in the Becm.
