Hi,

Last night locked my Landy with my key fob then subsiquently lost the set of keys, i do however have another key but with out a fob, so will manually unlocking still work or will the immobiliser kick in? i ask this because the Landy is quite far from where i am now, and i dont want the treck for nothing. Thanks!

Mines an 03 model & all works from either key or fob but I believe earlier cars were different.

depending on the key. you may have the transponder for the immobiliser in there or (if you had the old 2button rover style fob) the only way is to use the EKA (emergency key access) code to disable the immobiliser...

The immobiliser can be deacivated using testbook (pre2001) or IDS (post2001)
