Just to say Hi again, been away for a long time - running a 1989 VW T3 Syncro for the past few years (sorry but it is amazingly good )

The time has come for another Landy, we're looking for a Td4 Freelander, probably around 2001 ish with our rather modest budget. I'm sure I will be back quite a lot both before and after purchase to ask for advice and do my research.

Cheers all, off to read through everything again, the newest Landy I've ever had was a Disco 200tdi which we sold when we left the country in 2007 so a lot of new things to learn about.

Well we've done it. Just on my way to pick up a 51 plate td4 hardback. Next stop the tyre shop. Wish me luck, it seems an honest straight car and drives very well.

Had a really pleasant drive back in the Freelander, all seems to be behaving properly. It's for my better half to use daily as a work vehicle so we'll soon find out if 1st impressions are right or not. Anyone else based around Retford, North Notts?

hi is it the 2 door manual? if so how is it i brought my hardtop the other day running fine so far 2001 model
