I had that bought before I found out about this site - if it doesn't work I'll definitely give you a shout. The compressor was already changed, "97 range rover" written in tippex on it - but that doesn't mean it's any good. I've the rebuild kit ordered too. whats the recommended pressure to inflate the bags to? i could do that to check for leaks while it's parked.
Can't do that I'm afraid - nothing electrical inside the cabin works, windows, sunroof, seat, heater controls nothing. radio comes on but needs a code and I don't have the manual for it.

I say the following with the caveat " I knows nuffin about electrickery and I'm not smart like somes on here" BUT with so many issues, have you checked the fuses/relays individually and the also the fuse box itself. Just in case there is an issue of blown fuses or wet fuse box or somefing similar , maybes?
Again me is not clever and haz no knowledge and working on the premise you have probably already had a good look at fuses and fuse boxes

Certainly worth looking at the fuse box and giving it a sniff for burning. Around 60psi should do the job
Had a look on there the evening i brought it home. Apart from the fact that i would quite happily wrung the neck of whoever had it before me, incorrect rated fuses in some slots 25a instead of 40a a 30a maxi fuse instead of a 50a!!!, the fuse box itself looks ok. I haven't dug too much into it as yet other than to check the fuses in both places.

Without good volts on that battery you will be chasing ghosts. What's the voltage across the battery?
EAS compressor will burn out fast if it is feeding leaks. When you inflate the bags manually just put 10psi at a time in each one and work round otherwise 1 corner will lift and transfer all weight to the opposite corner. It'll be all over the place. Alternative is to get it high and then pull the EAS delay timer and see what drops.

EAS is in fault mode so pulling the relay will not do anything.
