What sort of horrible thing is that?

A big pair of stilsons or a cold chisel will probably sort it. Then in the bin with them.

Cheers

It is a standard steel locking wheel nut as used on Discos and defenders. Most common on spare wheel.

If you look at them all, you might find one with a number or letter on it. That is the code.
They are often for sale on Ebay.

Fine.... I think it is more likely the LR parts person cant be arsed.
Particularly as they have a LR part number - RTC9535 and can be found here and here and here and here and here and. to be honest, so many other places I cant be bothered to post them all.

You believe what you want.... You asked the Q...., it has been answered..... If you don't believe the answer, thats your problem, not mine :(.

Take it to a local tyre place and replace with standard stud/nut once they've got it off for you.

Nothing personal :) posting in the wrong section isn't a great start but common enough so not a problem.

You don't need to take any advice offered but RTC 9535 does look like what you need.
