Morning all! I’m having trouble with the locking actuators on my front doors - I replaced them myself yesterday after buying second hand replacements and all was fine - doors opened and closed no worries, and locked with the key fob. I broke the spindle that the key mechanism requires to manually lock and unlock.

Once I completed I drove home happy as Larry (apart from needing to visit a breakers yard), until I got home and couldn’t open the doors at all. The lock actuates, I can hear every handle is actuating so no linkages have come off but the door remains shut.

1. How do I open the door so I can have a look at the internals
2. Does anybody know what this might be? And how I might fix it?

Maybe whatever the handle operates has come off?
Mind you then you would be able to open from the inside I guess.
It seems a little odd that both front door catches would fail at the same time.

Everything is solid inside i believe, I can hear the linkages actuating on both sides and it worked before I left my friends house (where we fixed it). I think it’s some sort of mislock or superlock or something because all of the handles and the key fob work but the door still won’t open

None of the doors open?

The rear ones and boot will as I haven’t tampered with them
