I wish I could find a way to STOP the inside lights coming on, and to put them off when I am lamping with the doors open.
Bloody pest having to take out the bulbs, but the back two lights will not go out any way I have tried so far if a door is open.
Any suggestions?

If I thought both back area roof lights could be offed with one switch on one wire I would do it tomorrow.
Ripping out the headcloth is not high on my agenda.

Tomorrow Monday I am going to Newcastle-upon-Tyne to see a laddy aged 9 who had a heart transplant last week. I'm taking his Mum back down to be with him.

stick a bit of gaffer tape over the door switch. then when you open the door the lights won't come on. Or stick a sliver of a matchstick in to keep it down.

Oh sorry, I missed your reply. Got over-excited. Need more dried frog pills. But that means you've got to tape the switch on EVERY door. Too many doors... Why is life so complicated? Why did I sell the Series 3?

The TD5's body control ECU will switch of the inside lights if you leave the door open for any length of time, they will stay dark until all doors are closed and the engine is retarted again
I'm going to find the fuse and pull it out.
No use trying to lamp foxes with the Landy lit up like a Blackpool tram.

you guys are making light of a serious problem .....
I have enough trouble with foxes without worrying about Blackpool Trams!
