I am wanting to fit a 2 inch lift to my disco when I get it. I want to know what other mods I will need to do when I do so I don't put anything understrain. I know loads are going to say ####ing search ya scouse #### but I have already and can't find anything.

####ing search ya scouse ####

Depends what your doing? 2 inch lift? shocks n springs?

Do you just want +2" shocks or you gonna go with something a bit bigger?

What springs you gonna use?

Do you want mega articulation or do you just want it a bit higher for the looks?

People like jai are knowledgable for proper trials type set up's

I'm running HD Bearmach +2" springs cos I occasionally carry quite a bit in the back and have heavy duty bumpers,

+5" shockers with heavy duty mounts, extended brake hoses, extended bump stops, dislocation cones, heavy duty turrets

I have a pair of wide angled props to go on to improve ride quality/articulation and to get rid of the rubber "donut" on the rear diff and also have a set of cranked front radius arms and rear trailing arms on the shopping list...

Springs and shocks

Just want it to fit bigger tyres to do green laning and the odd pay and play day nothing mad but wanted hd for carrying a couple of us about with dogs and hawks.

What bits of kit would you guys recommend ?

as WLM says... its been done to death! Try being a bit less specific with your search, I did loads of research before I did mine and the majority of it was on here.

For me - 80% road use, occasional towing and heavy loads as well as some play days and green laning I opted for HD bearmach +2" springs as I said above and can't fault them. The rest of it just depends how much you wanna spend really!
