Hi ladies and gents,

Quick question....just got some Flatdog LED headlights from Kelmarsh, wired them up yesterday and it's doing a funny thing...

When the ignition is off and the side lights are on, the halo is on and looks right....however as soon as I switch the ignition on, the dipped beam comes on?

So to clarify, when the ignition is on, irrespective of the lighting stalk position, the dipped beam is on?

What's puzzling me is to connect them, it was as simple as plugging in the 3pin H4 style connector on the wire??? What could have gone wrong!?!?!?

I assume your lights did not do this before? did you ever check?

Didn't really pay that much attention, but pretty sure I'd have noticed that?

What year vehicle, if its mid 90's then you may have a dim dip relay and its getting confused due to different loading?

It's 2008...2.4 TDCI

Unplug one and try putting a bulb back into the h4 connector and see if it still does it. Careful tho get hot extremely quickly.
If it does or doesn't light up either way use a multi meter and see which pins are getting twelve volts out of the three with the ignition on.
