mine are knackered (one split on the way home form the MOT)

local motorfactors only have a neoprene one in, is this ok?? got some for the short term at least, but will it be ok longer term, thinking heat etc, or does it need to be the braided stuff??

Yep that's what you want. Better than the braided stuff. I've used windscreen washer pipe in emergency

Halfords have it in, the braided stuff that is. Did me fine.
