Didn't leak before replacement and no from sun roof area
I had this and I took it back. They did a water test whilst I waited and reported that 'it is only a pin hole leak'! I politely told them a leak is a leak regardless of the size and the damage that it had already caused was going to be repaired at their expense. To be fair, they did accept liability and did stand by a very large Land Rover quotation for the repair at the local stealer. And they re-did the windscreen.

The only reason I asked is I have just done some extensive repairs to my passenger foot well and bulkhead. I only found the issue due to a wet carpet. By the way, the top of the carpet felt bone dry, whilst the foam underside was saturated. It's my opinion that now D2's are getting older, there will be many of them with the same issues mine had.

When I had my screen replaced the fitter explained he would have to remove all traces of sealant around it in case any was silicon. That included the top of the a pillars as I found out when it rained that night 
I simply redid them myself and it was fine.
