Hi. I've been through all the threads on leaking windscreen and have tried what they have suggested. I seem to have one in the top left hand corner and one over the the drivers lap! Last weekend I run sikaflex along the external top seal and in the corners of the windscreen but that seems to have made it worse! Speaking with an AutoGlass chap he says these Discos are renown for seams that have shrunk and then leak and says if I get AG to reseal (at a heafty cost) the windscreen it would be entirely at my risk if the w/s breaks (replacement up to £1K!) - suggesting if is a distinct posiibilty they wil break it resealing it.

I have the headlining out and when spraying the Disco with the hose water drips through the positions mentioned above.

Any suggestions please? I don't mind the missus getting a wet hair do but it's embarrasing to climb out with a wet crotch every time it rains!

Yup! I was coming to that conclusion. Just a bit of me says "I'm not going to be beaten by a bit of rubber and sealant". :scratching_chin:

:D Problem solved! Poured cold water on the windscreen this mornng to test last nights sealant - windscreen cracked from top to bottom. AutoGlass on thier way!

i might be too late but try john mcgilley windscreens, hes based at bognor and will do a better job than the a/g monkeys.
i was 20 odd years in the trade and we used to help each other out. he is a very good fitter and can bill direct to certain insurance companies.
