hi everyone, ns swivel has been leaking for a few months now (one shot grease used) cleaned the ball today & found a tiny amount of pitting at the top of the ball. This is where the leak is along with part of the seal missing. I wonder has anybody else had the same & is the general opinion to replace the swivel ball or replace the seal. I know in a perfect world i would replace the swivel ball but if the cheaper option is a worth while option then so be it.

if its leaking one-shot its desperatly wants sorting.......new seal will probably cure but how long it lasts depends on how bad the pitting is

Thanks Blue Beasty, the pitting is only about 5mm in diameter & not very deep & i have noticed that swivel ball kits seem to have shot up in price of late. Thats why i might have a go at changing the seal as the old one clearly has a piece missing.
