Finally established where leak is coming from (front right) and its the whole length of the outer gutter! The sealant is cracked and water is coming in. Guys at autoglas (in slovakia) did a whole watertight test - and abolutely free! Sunroofs are both fine, so is front windscreen.

They don't fix gutters so my question is: can I fix it myself and how? Just sillicone it over or get it done professionally? I dont really want to fork out lots on a new roof paintjob as lets face it the car is 11years old and I have my heart set on buying a 1966 Skoda 1000MB.

Has anyone had this problem and how did you address it?

I've read on the forum that some guys use liquid rubber; not sure of the product name though. Want to do some myself as a precaution for the winter

What a bloody great, eccentric British name for a product! :D  Just watched Capt. Tolley's movie might have to get some of that myself.
